Today you arrive at the centrepiece of the trip: Geirangerfjord. Enter via the Eagle Road (Ørnesvingen) — look straight down 11 hairpin bends into the fjord with the Seven Sisters waterfall visible on the far wall. The most photographed view in Norway. Then Flydalsjuvet — the classic panoramic viewpoint, best in late afternoon golden light. Two nights at Vinje Camping — fjord views from the pitch, trampoline for her, walk to the village. Last day on the road. Entirely fresh scenery — nothing retraced. The Hardangerfjord return is softer and wider than the northern fjords, with orchards running to the water's edge. Three waterfall stops: Vøringsfossen (182m, suspended walkway above the gorge, free entry — do this first while everyone is fresh), Låtefossen (twin waterfall right beside the road, stone arch bridge — 10-minute stop), and Steinsdalsfossen — flat guardrailed path directly behind the waterfall.
