Hardangerfjord
🚗 ~3h 30m driving🏨 Comfort Hotel Bergen Airport Terminal🛋️ IKEA Åsane optional

06:00–21:00
Long flexible days
Day 1, Sat 15 Aug: 16°/12°C, light rain overnight into cloudy — irrelevant, you land 23:25.
Day 2, Sun 16 Aug: 16°/11°C, cloudy, 0mm rain — dry for Stalheimskleiva.
Day 3, Mon 17 Aug: 17°/10°C, cloudy, 0mm rain — dry for Stegastein and dinner.
Days 4–9, 18–23 Aug: only weekly bands available this far out — avg high ~16°C, avg low ~9°C, ~24mm rain across the week (range 2–45mm). Will refine as each day enters the 10-day window.
Running a few degrees cooler than the original seasonal estimate (18–22°C) — pack a notch warmer than you might for "mid-August." Rain is real but not a trip-ruiner. Waterfalls look better after rain. Fjords are dramatic in mist. Long daylight means no pressure — start early or run late without losing light.
